ROHRMOSER COSTA RICA
Rohrmoser is an upscale residential area in Costa Rica with expensive houses and condos, named after a German Developer who started this neighborhood that goes from the end of La Sabana park, and along the Rohrmoser Boulevard until reaching Plaza Mayor Shopping Center.
There are not big hotels in Rohrmoser but a few bed and breakfasts. Close by on the eastern side of Rohrmoser is the neighborhood of Pavas where you will find the U.S. Embassy and lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops. Some of the most popular bars in Pavas are Tragaldabas, La Kabaña Classic and Long Horns. From Rohrmoser you can even take a taxi to downtown San Jose in just five minutes, of course traffic permitting. Tobias Bolaños Airport (Pavas airport) is also very close, just a short five minute ride, from here you can fly to different destinations within Costa Rica.
Rohrmoser Costa Rica is a modern city suburb with sidewalks and boulevards instead of the usual narrow roads and streets found all over Costa Rica, this beautiful and peaceful neighborhood has many small parks and a tree-lined boulevard; Costa Rica's President and Peace Nobel Prize Mr. Oscar Arias Sánchez lives here.
The best places to go shopping in Rohrmoser are Plaza Mayor and Plaza Rohrmoser, both of them with a varied selection of shops, restaurants and a food court. Multiplaza Escazu the biggest shopping mall in Costa Rica is located at only 10 minutes from Rohrmoser.
